'The Crucible' meets 'Father Ted' in this historical black comedy!
It's 1589 and the dark walls of King James VI's Edinburgh are rife with gossip and uncertainty. The McCreddie family are in hiding, fleeing persecution in a town riddled with rats, lies, fear......and fake beards.
Based on actual events during the 16th century and set against the backdrop of the North Berwick witch trials, come join the McCreddies (and other characters based on real people) as they struggle to keep their heads in a society fuelled by panic, firewood and of course, plenty of whisky.......
Scottish history never looked so damned hot!
*Great for budding historians, but does contain some strong language so not suitable for those under 14 years.
